How to install Wear OS watch faces

Wear OS watches — including Samsung Galaxy Watch, Google Pixel Watch, OnePlus Watch and TicWatch — install faces straight from Google Play. No sideloading needed.

    Open the face page and tap Install from Google Play

    This opens the watch face listing on the Play Store. It's the safest, most reliable route for Wear OS.

    Install to your paired watch

    In the Play Store, choose your watch as the install target. The face downloads to the watch over Bluetooth or Wi-Fi.

    Open the watch face gallery

    Long-press your current face on the watch, or use the Galaxy Wearable / Watch app on your phone to browse installed faces.

    Select and customise

    Tap the new face to set it, then edit complications, colours and data fields to suit you.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to sideload an APK?
No. Published Wear OS faces install from Google Play. APK downloads are only for testers of beta faces.
Why can't I see the face on my watch?
Make sure the watch was selected as the install target in the Play Store, and that your watch and phone are connected.
