Editorial Policy

Faces are selected on whether they are genuinely useful on a real wrist: legible at a glance, correctly sized for the models we list them against, honest about what they include, and free to install.

We exclude designs that imitate a protected watch brand, misrepresent a wallpaper as a native watch face, or require a subscription while being advertised as free.

Nobody can buy a listing, a position or a review on this site. We do not accept payment for inclusion, for a higher position, or for a more favourable description.

Some outbound store links carry affiliate tokens, which may earn us a commission at no extra cost to you. Affiliate status is never a ranking factor — the App Store lists are ordered by Apple's own published data, and our own catalogue is ordered editorially.

On the Apple Watch face app pages, apps are ordered by the rating and review count Apple publishes through its official API, refreshed daily and shown exactly as returned. We do not adjust, average or curate those figures.

In our own catalogue, the default order is 'Recommended': editor-picked faces first, then the most recently added. You can re-sort by newest or alphabetically. There is no popularity ordering, because we have no verified install or rating data to base one on.

Platform behaviour changes often, and availability varies by model, software version and country. Where that is true we say so instead of stating a single answer.

When we find or are told about an error, we fix the page and update its date stamp. Report anything wrong through the report page.

Brand and product names are used only to describe compatibility. We are not affiliated with Apple, Samsung, Google, Garmin, Amazfit or any other manufacturer — see the trademark disclaimer.

App names, icons and screenshots on the app pages belong to their developers. Copyright concerns are handled under our DMCA and takedown policy.
